The Southern RED CRAB

The Southern King Crab (Lithodes Santolla) naturally harvested of the Argentine continental shelf, brings its own rich flavor, tender texture and white meat with a distinctive deep royal red edge. The fishery is set between the 44th and the 48th parallel South, extending to the outer border of the Argentine continental shelf (over 200 nautical miles). A strict regulatory framework managed by the Federal Fishing Council and the Fishing Research and Development National Institute assure environmental sustainability. Southern King Crabs are butchered, cooked and blast frozen immediately on board our catcher processor vessels, utilizing the highest international standards for quality under the watchful eyes of our trained Quality Assurance Managers.

It's only 30 minutes from fishing to processing. The live king
crab is fished, cut off (and still alive), cooked, and frozen for
half an hour.
